Recommendation of Kyrre Sundal – To whom it may concern

Kyrre Sundal has worked in the CEBRA office during the whole year of 2009 and some of 2010– first as an intern and later on, after 4
month, as a trainee. During that period he worked on numerous projects such as competitions and sketch proposals as well as quite detailed
working drawings for building sites. He has produced models, 3D stills and countless drawings, so I can honestly say he has dealt with
most of the traditional architecture disciplines. Among the more prestigious projects are The Egmont School, The School of Bülowsvej and
the new headquarters for Elbek and Vejrup which are all competition first prizes.

Kyrre is very creative in the true meaning of the word. He is able to come up with ideas spontaneously and when there are a lot of issues to
consider. He has a very mature way of dealing with design problems, and he visualizes his ideas and thoughts easily with both pencil and
mouse. He is hard working, extremely reliable and he has a great sense of perfection driven by architectural integrity. His main force, it
seems, is his natural use of the digital media. It seems as if nothing inside a computer is new to him, and he manages to use this gift on
design and architecture and not, like many others, just for the sake of the tool. I short Kyrre is a Mr. fix it – with a very developed aesthetic
sense.

Kyrre is a real 24-7 architect to be. Even though we tried our best to keep him busy in the office, he managed to do a few projects of his
own in the spare time left. This proves that he is very devoted to the profession of architecture and a real student who will keep studying
after graduation. He has a great – and a bit quiet Norwegian – sense of humor which we have enjoyed immensely in the office. He is good
company and a positive element in the social life of the company.

This is to certify that Mr Kyrre SUNDAL, born 04.08.83, has been in our employ from June 19th until August 20th, 2007, and again from June 30th until August 25th 2008 as trainee.

He has been involved in the below tasks during his trainee-ship:
The completion of an apartment building project in Oslo; primarily illustrations with coloured plan drawings.
“N2″, zoning of Fet downtown, sun-diagrams etc.
“Gladengveien” apartment building project in Oslo, participated in the conceptual phase of the buildings and drawing of cross sections.
Sketched layout for parking-lots for Coop, Lillestrøm.
Sketched, done in situ measurements, and participated in the documentation to obtain Construction Permit for several minor projects, all from garages, and barracks to apartments.
Designed and maintained the company’s Internet site.

He has participated in on site progress meetings and site inspections.

He has a keen eye for good architecture, is thorough, he maintains good progress in his work and has the ability to finish his jobs in a timely fashion.

He is a nice person with whom it was a pleasure to work. We recommend him highly for a position in a firm of architects.

Kyrre Sundal has participated actively in the Ark:Idea student growth facility during the fall semester of 2008. Ark:Idea is a program, where architect students get tools, knowledge, network and counselling in the field of entrepreneurship. About what it means and what it takes to succeed as an entrepreneur. During the course, the students learn by doing, by transforming knowledge into active action, and the
result is experience based on working with their own nascent entrepreneurial company. The program extends for 140 hours (6 ECTS).

Moreover, Kyrre has received individual coaching and councelling, and has worked intensely with realizing the company project which was at the core of his participation in Ark:Idea.

Kyrre has shown an exceptional desire to make things happen in Ark:Idea. Along with a fellow student, he has started his own company and has succeeded in realizing a number of interesting work projects, due to his efficacy, his courage and his ability to make things happen, and to activate his network in this respect. Kyrre has been of great inspiration to other students in Ark:Idea, they have profited greatly from sharing Kyrre’s knowledge, experience and great involvement.

Mr Kyrre Sundal is student at Architecture at the School of Architecture in Århus, Denmark. I have made use of his great knowledge of using computers in various aspects of architectural tasks. As such I have had great benefits of this by using him as a tutor in courses in ArchiCAD and InDesign.
